GAMMA Questions

I realize this may be more of a math question than a GAMMA specific question, but I'm curious what the best practice is for converting the ccs (cross-correlation standard deviation of each patch) and ccp (cross-correlation of each patch) rasters that come out of offset_pwr_tracking and offset_pwr_tracking2 to something like a variance in displacement space.

The docs indicate that ccp / ccs is a solid approximation of SNR. But are there any approaches to move from SNR (or the ccp and ccs components) to variance? Or maybe other outputs are better suited to uncertainty estimation...
